Carlow Sport Partnership Summer Camp Navigation Skills Mount-Leinster

As part of a series of summer camps, Mountain Adventures 74 has joined forces with Carlow Sport Partnership to provide some light navigation and orienteering skills to juniors and young people in the Blackstairs and Mount-Leinster.

During this 4 hours hikes, young candidates will learn the skills of how to set and read a map in order to navigate with confidence on forestry trails and path in Ireland and beyond. This course is an introduction to a lowland and mountain skills courses which is opened to candidate as young as 12 years old.

On the day, each participant will be given some course note, the map of the day and a compass.
