LUGNAQUILLA Saturday Night before the Full Moon.

The walk starts from Drumgoff . We then go though woodland, along Carrawaystick Brook, Kelly’s Lough and Lugnaquilla. The way back we follow the ridge above Kelly’s Lough, down Carrawaystick mountain and down to the car park.  So far the forecast is good for a nice view of the full moon but a coldish night.

Duration around 7  hours walk with breaks included. 

Grade =  moderate to difficult

Terrain =  Wooden boards, tracks, off tracks

What to bring ; waterproof jacket, head torch, hat and gloves, warm clothing,  hiking boots and some snacks, water or hot drink.
