MOUNT-LEINSTER.

Mount-Leinster is located in the South-East of Ireland and South of the Wicklow Mountains. The peak is at 796m and is the 5th highest mountain in the province of Leinster and the highest of the Black Stairs.

MOUNT-LEINSTER.

A small hike with few ascents and some steep ground but mostly on track. Interesting enough for people who want to venture and experience different types of hiking skills.

The hike start from a small car park near Ballychrystal  and goes through woodland , follow a forestry track then off track to Black Rock Mountain at 604m . Then , follow the ridge all the way to Mount-Leinster at 793m high. The return way will be mostly off track down to the woodland and car park.

Duration around 4h30 walk with breaks included.

Grade = Moderate to Hard

Terrain = Forestry tracks, trails and off trails.

With transport included = € 150
